i've pretty much abandoned this i know. but most of you guys already know where to find where i broadcast my life to anyways.

well its official. we're GOING TO EQUADOR!!!! i honestly can't wait . Knowing me, i'm going to start packing as soon as next week, haha. It's going to be the experience of my lifetime, i just know it. ....big discussion with chris yesterday about how you can never know whether the choices you make in life are right and wrong in the long run, and what you think is best for you now isn't necessarily in the future...so Who knows where this'll lead to.... doesn't matter. point is, i'm so excited!!!!!

Chris is trying to get me started on Anime. First this, then Initial D... is it working? we'll see. We'll see. Great weekend! camping was FUNNn, so relaxing. I still have all that crap in my back seat i need to give back to Alvin haha lot 332 (what a suck), level (much better!), Volleyball, the Beach, sushi (the tilted bowls and everything), CLEANING...Round of golf on Monday with mumma and the Hos at Tam'O Shanter, followed by dinner downtown at Ethiopian house with some high school friends (Injera?? well. you try it. and let me know what YOU think of it first).

welcome back Mel and Bren!!! and well... good bye to you guys plus bern at the same time... see you girls in a bit

SCHOOL TOMORROW! and the countdown to grad begins... 8 more months!

Fairytales are called Fairytales for a reason... they always have happy endings! except this one just didn't really make sense. Well, it was entertainment that lasted 2 hours, what more could you expect of from movies these days hmmmmm what's new. i got a job yesterday! part time during school with York, still haven't selected the position that i want to accept yet though but looking forward to it.

Full day of training at York, burning through my heels by running a marathon of a scavenger hunt (and we still didn't win.. but we shoulda!)....shopping spree with chris, BUT i didnt even get ONE thing it was all him! haha how rare. Ben's going away party was at Honest Lawyers, highlight of my night had to be kicking the boys butts in basketball (even without the extra ball!! ) HoeeGarden has to be one of my least favorite... who said it was good!?

recap of the weekend...

...not quite making it to Level, disappointing Ming and Kev (sorry guys! but it's not my fault, seriously this time!)...getting back at Chris by locking us out of his house and having to break back into it....squeezing through half a foot of space after tearing out part of a screen window only to get stuck half way (yeah yeah i know the booty), Chris trying to smush me through (it didn't work i was thoroughly stuck), and Socks watching the whole time from inside. Doesn't matter though because in the end, no embarassing footage was taken while I was flailing my arms and legs around trying to get loose, and we got back into the house.

We were eliminated from play-offs in the first round (what happened?? mercied in the 7th, so sad), went out for final team dinner. I was sat at the sad, depressed, and bitter table with the hardcores of softball and missed out at the 'for f un' table haha. Saw Batman Begins too, not bad, but that guy who played Batman SUCKED!

Had lunch with Richard and family (good times! thankyou to everyone except Richard for the meal), and watched the Capstones game at Wigmore...unfortunately they were eliminated too, but at least they made it much further than we did! Dinner with Henry followed by a stupid/crazy/ chase you down the street fight with babe. Don't worry, I don't believe any of that BS you told me anyway to 'tum' me.

sorry, bad day at work yesterday! but it got better from there... it was employee appreciation day, so just around noon time we all headed down to Queens Quay, and hopped on board the Wayward Princess for buffet lunch, and an act from comedian Chuck Byrn (funny guy, but he better be careful, all those newfie and french jokes will get him hurt!)...went to the range with Ming at night, I've got these nasty callouses from hitting so much! -- Tiger Woods in two hours, right?

ANAL RETENTIVE PEOPLE DRIVE ME INSANE. People who take power trips and talk down to you when they are not even in the position to do so, possibly because they have no say at home or are at an inferior level in their relationships and need to exert their frustrations on something/ someone else. well, do what you want, just NOT at me because i won't tolerate that garbage. I'm glad i don't have to deal with this much longer or i think i'd snap.

RMF, that last rant was not directed at you. not to worry

Freak storm leaves Toronto in a state of emergency and chaos all around. Makes you wonder what it would be like if anything worse came along. I saw so many accidents, water up to car doors, people stranded, confusion everywhere! The worst part is Finch and Sentinel. where all four lanes were washed away and collapsed, leaving a huge gap 30 meters wide and 20 metres deep... witnesses say it looked like Niagara Falls. Now they estimate that it will take 5 million dollars and a minimum of three months to fix this! Imagine what traffic will be like when we go back to school...

Recap of the weekend, after waiting 2.5 hours to travel less than 10 km because of blocked roads and floods everywhere, hopped back into the car to go downtown and have a gourmet meal prepared for me, Chris, Ken, and Mandy, by none other than chef Jer. Thanks! Saturday we had our final 2 games of the season, winning both (Malvern softball teams went a total of 7-0 last weekend!!)--- playoffs this weekend. Went to the Ex at night...is it just me, or does it seem smaller than last year? times have changed... I used to go for the rides and games... now, we go for the food. Sunday we met Sabrina's family for dinner (engagement bbq plans begin now).

Tonight? I'm going to see Chun Yi at Princess of Wales. Hope it's good!

<Start Rant/>. i've made this rant a while ago but i'm in the mood to do it again. Why do people always say things they don't mean!! it annoys me so much. Let's stay friends... keep in touch... dont want to lose contact with you... those words are so garbage! why say it when you aren't going to put forth the effort to maintain that relationship? instead you just rationalize with yourself and say... oh, i will call / talk/ email/ ask them out next time. It's not convenient for me now, or i dont have the time... then when you finally see them or talk to them you make up some ridiculous excuse for not getting in touch sooner? please. as if we all don't know any better. </end rant>.

next topic. went to Cardinal for tee-off time of 745am on sat! craziness. the rain pretty much held up until we just finished, and then off I went to Center Island to go blading...apart from being scared for my life and others several times (smacking straight into pedestrians going at high speeds on blades!), it was a lot of fun! and really tiring. Had dinner at Baton Rouge (Chris can tell you how awful it was)--- don't go to the one at Hwy 7, it sucks!!

I now know how fragile fish are. you need to feed them twice a day... or they'll undoubtedly starve to death. At least they left behind babies for us!

what is it with bad drivers? and why are there so many of them? no... why do I have to run into so many of them?

case #1: a guy tries to cut into my lane and almost hits me, so i honk him, and he retreats... only to try to cut into my lane again without checking and always hits me... Again.

case #2: one car's lane is ending so he needs to get in to the one to the left of it.. this woman sees, speeds up to box him out (she was way behind him at first), and then honks and curses and mouths him off when he does get into the lane...she gets so worked up that as i pass her i see her yelling at him in front with both hands wailing around in the air... mind you, no hands on the wheel... so she starts drifting half way into my lane. Talk about road rage.

case #3: cutting people off on the highway without checking your blind spot. This idiot almost hit 2 cars (one in each lane as he crossed three lanes!!), so the others had to slam on the brakes to avoid a crash.

We went to Mandarin Club yesterday to check out a potential venue for Ken and Sab's wedding... well, it just wasn't what we were expecting. Onwards, with the search.

Renos are almost done!!! floors just need to be sweeped, and the little things put away. What a transformed place. It looks like something from trading spaces... only better
